The monk waited with curiosity as Sango did not reach for the hem of his kimono, but rather went for the mid-section. Raising a brow, he then realized what she was doing, and lowered his hands into his lap, waiting as a hint of a smile lit across his flushed cheeks. When his stomach and chest were exposed, he looked to see her facial expression and grew delighted to see the pink hue lighting up her own features. Putting on a more serious air, however, the houshi struggled not to grin or say anything that might prove.. houshi-ish.
It was a good thing Kagome had left some of her magical medicines behind, and Miroku glanced up to the ceiling, mentally thanking his young friend. Of course, he wasn't thanking her because he was relieved to be getting the right treatment. He was thanking her because, because of her, Sango had to turn around and get the stuff. And that was just too irresistable to ignore.
Almost as if it had a mind of its own, Miroku's "cursed" hand reached for Sango's backside, finding its way onto her and rubbing lightly. "Sango.. thank you for taking care of me," Miroku said softly, eyes narrowing as he expressed his gratitude.
"I'm so thankful to have you around.."
Well, he lasted longer than he normally did without pulling something. It was only a matter of time.

Sango, who had just picked up the medicine, nearly dropped it again when she suddenly felt Miroku's hand rubbing her rear end. Her face had been slightly pinkish before, but now it turned a definite crimson color as she lifted her right hand abruptly and spun around, her hand lashing out almost from pure reflex to slap Miroku hard on the cheek like she always did whenever he pulled something lecherous on her, leaving the usual red hand mark behind.
"You seem more thankful for my backside than for me," Sango responded, giving Miroku one of the usual glares that followed his lecherous attempts on her. "Here, put this on your bruise," she said, holding out her left hand to him which held the salve for bruises in it. She gave him a look that left no room for argument, and also strongly suggested against him asking for her to do it.
'Well, at least he's back to normal... Sango thought with a sigh that was half relief and half frustration.

Kikyou entered the village where she had been born and had protected the jewel in. It held many memories for her, both good and painful. The miko glanced over her shoulder, checking to see if Doza was following her or not. She knew it would be difficult fixing his largly burnt arm, but with her expert knowledge of herbs and spiritual powers combined, she was fairly sure that he could be treated.
Kikyou stopped at the outside of the hut in which her sister lived, and took hold of one side of the material that served as a door and opened it slightly before turning towards the injured half-demon. "This is the dwelling place of my sister. Come in here, and I will see what help I can give to your arm." she told him.

The monk waited patiently to see how his female companion would respond to his "smooth move," but he didn't have long to wait. In fact, out of nowhere, he found himself facing her, and a slap issuing shortly after she whirled around. For a second, his only thought was, "Dang, she's fast." Which quickly dissolved as the sufficient amount of pain settled into his cheek. He was vaguely aware of a stinging sensation, though one would think he to be used to this by now. And he was. He was just.. well, he hadn't learned anything, to be frank.
"Now, now, Sango. Don't be ridiculous; I'm thankful for every part of you," Miroku drawled after her remark, and then her glare, which could have melted steel. Wincing slightly as his own ears caught wind of what he had just said, the houshi cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair before opening his eyes again and peering up at Sango. "Heh heh, I didn't mean that like it sounded.." he attempted to recover.
At her abrupt instruction, Miroku nodded, extended his right hand, and took the salve from her, sending her a small smile despite the look she sent him. Doing as she had demanded of him, he said nothing as he applied the bandage to himself; he might have been a lech but he wasn't a total idiot. One smart remark from Miroku might mean death for him. Sango wasn't a very good person to piss off.
Still, it tickled him that she had slapped him.. as bizzare as that sounded, it was true. He wouldn't have kept this up if it didn't amuse him some. She was cute when she was ticked off, and of course he'd never pull something that would really hurt her feelings or make her completely steamed. Even though.. in the past, that might've happened once.. or twice.
Gah.
Still smiling pleasantly to himself, Miroku sighed and leaned back, happy to be in a place of serenity, if only just for a few moments. It was at that point, however, that he caught a couple of words spoken outside of the tent. Azul orbs sliding over to the entrance flap, Miroku's heart skipped a beat as he witnessed the flap begin to open. Someone was coming inside! In all of his business being a pervert, Houshi-san hadn't even picked up on the demon or the priestess' oras. He turned to look at Sango, unsure of what to do. Of course, his first thought was that it was only one of the villagers coming to check up on them or something, but as his senses began to run haywire, he realized that whomever was out there wasn't a "normal" person.

Sango's glare became even more intense at Miroku's words, if that was even possible. He always knew just what to say and be lecherous about it at the same time. Or maybe half of them were accidents, but it didn't seem that way to Sango. Despite Miroku's fears about being killed by Sango for another smart and or lecherous remark, Sango would never go so far as to kill one of her companions over something so trivial. Although she always reacted violently to Miroku's moves on her, she really couldn't imagine him acting any other way, and would probably be worried if he did.
Sango too had been so concentrated on the lecherous moves of Miroku that she failed to sense the auras coming from just outside Kaede's hut until Miroku gave her a confused look. Dropping her glare of death, Sango turned to look at the door as the flap was opened partially and also saw a blur of movement and blue orbs floating nearby, which could only mean one thing. She also felt a demonic aura that reminded her of Inuyasha's.
"You feel it too, Houshi-sama?" Sango said more as a statement than a question. "Those blue orbs... could they be souls of the dead? If so, it must be Lady Kikyou. I do not recognize the other aura, but it doesn't seem to be evil."

Looking around in the village Doza can't help but look and and stop. " This town, it looks so different from the others! Or maybe the towns I've been to are weird?" He shrugs and then realizes the Kikyou is far ahead of him. He starts to run holding his arm. Gosh dang...running makes it hurt worse! Maybe it's from all the movement I'm making from running? But then again... Doza starts losing himself in thought.
Not paying attention to where he's at, Doza almost runs into the hut, but at the few last seconds he stops. "Fhew....hey..?" His fox ears perk up hearing sounds coming from inside the hut, they sound like three people?" I thought your sister lived here? But there sounds like a 'few' people in there? Does she have a family or something?" He scratches his head with his good arm, then continues to hold his bad arm. Kikyou just confused me..That's happened a-lot ever since I met her earlier..

"No, my sister does not have any family besides myself. What you are hearing may be some of the companions of Inuyasha. They come here often to rest and get medical attention. I do not sense Inuyasha here, however, but the ones inside both have auras of power." Kikyou explained as she opened up the entrance even more and went inside. "You need not fear them, they will not injure you."
Kikyou glanced to the side after she had entered, and noticed that she was right about who was inside, two of Inuyasha's companions. Inuyasha himself was not there however, which she found somewhat strange, but didn't stop to think about it long because she knew that Doza needed serious help and quickly passed them to get the ingredients in order to make a poultice for Doza's badly injured arm.

'You feel it too, Houshi-sama?[/b]'
Miroku nodded at Sango's question. To her suggestion as to whom it might be, he turned to look back at the door. "You're right.. It must be Kikyou. And the other aura doesn't seem menacing.. but we should keep our guard up just the same," he declared, keeping his voice down so that whomever was out there would not hear him.
All of a sudden, the flap opened, and Kikyou entered- just as they had expected. He noticed she was talking to somebody, and he absently leaned to the side to try and get a picture of who it was. Miroku's dark eyes followed the woman as she passed them, heading towards the medical supplies. Was she injured? Was her companion injured? He sent a confused glance to Sango, then returned his focus on Kikyou. Maybe it was a good thing they had not caught up with Kagome and InuYasha yet.. if Kikyou were here.. there would be "complications".
Personally, Miroku rather liked Kikyou. She was calm and collect, from what he had seen, and he thought it sad that she was but an empty shell of a person, a collecter of lost souls. If she hadn't unnerved him so much with her holy presence, he might have made a move on her. But.. there was no telling what the undead woman might have done to him.
"Hello, Lady Kikyou," he ventured, trying to be polite. However, he could plainly see that she was in the middle of something, so he would not talk too much. Besides, she was a relatively quiet person, and he would respect that.
"What brings you here?" [/color]

Kikyou paused over by the medicine to look back at Miroku when he spoke. She still wondered why it was that the two of them were here, but Inuyasha, the small fox demon, and her incarnation were not. Could they be waiting for them to arrive?
"Lord Monk..." she replied, giving him a nod of greeting. The she shifted her gaze towards the entrance to the hut. "I was near this village with a hanyou I met along the way who was about to hurt himself on a tainted shard of the jewel when we were attacked by someone. The hanyou has a badly injured arm, so I brought him here to fix it." she said. "You are Inuyasha's companions, but he is not here. Are you waiting for him to return?" she asked. After all, she was not interested in killing him or anything of that sort any more, rather she liked to make sure that he was doing alright. Besides, she had promised to not let him die.
"Doza, come in. Your arm hurts does it not? The sooner I can try to fix it, the less painful it will be," she called to the Kitsune half-demon who still hadn't entered the hut.

Doza starts to walk inside of the hut, but trips over something and lands on his face; he looks up, smiles, and laughs weakly. Then he sits up and tries to scrub all the dirt off his face with his god arm. “ How stupid of me...” As he looks up he looks up he gets embarrassed and blushes a little bit. Doza quickly stands up and holds onto his bad arm.
“Y-yes… my arm hurts.” He walks in the hut and sits down next to the wall and closes his eyes. I just wish this day was over.. and my arm to be better... I am trying my best to not show it.. but the pain is emence..

"Are you alright?" Kikyou asked, concerned when Doza fell over. She hoped that he had not further injured his arm. She watched him move over to the wall and sit down before turning back to the medicine. She was glad that her sister had not used all of the salve that was meant for serious burns, because that meant that she didn't have to make some right now. Not to say that she was bad at it or anything, it was more that it would take a while and Rolik would have to stay in pain for longer.
Kikyou picked up the bowl of salve, some cloth bandages and a jar of water she had found, then went over to Doza and sat down next to him. "This is going to be painful for a while since I must first clean your wound before I apply the salve to it. Once the salve is on it should start to feel less painfull, for the herbs in it will dull the pain while they heal your burn. It will not heal in a hurry I am sorry to say, so I would suggest you stay here until your arm is close to normal once more." Kikyou told Doza.

(When did I get in this? You said: Not to say that she was bad at it or anything, it was more that it would take a while and Rolik would have to stay in pain for longer.) (lol)
“I guess I am.” Doza said quietly. He opens his eyes and sighs. Maybe I can sleep it off. While Kikyou is making something to fix my arm. On second thought, this place is strange, so I’ll stay awake. He looks around at the inside of the hut, waiting patiently for her to get done.
Doza gulps, hearing that there will be ‘more’ pain to come, at least for a little while. But he tries to act tough and manly, “O-okay. I can take it.” He nods in agreement. Staying here shouldn’t be that bad. It’s kind of nice. Doza is starting to get lost in thought.
